FAITH SHARING GROUPS
This fall we will be offering six weeks of Faith Sharing Groups, similar to what was offered during Lent. We have decided to use a resource that focuses on the Sunday Scripture Readings. The groups will have the opportunity to reflect on their meaning and the application of the Scriptures to their daily lives before they attend Mass the next weekend. Using the Sunday Readings is a way, hopefully, to offer an adult series that uses the Bible and that helps parishioners have a more meaningful celebration of the Mass.
The Faith Sharing Groups will begin the week of October 10th, 2011 and will conclude the week of November 13th, 2011. Sign-ups will begin through the bulletin soon. If you want to continue with the group you met with in Lent, you may do so. If you would like to join another Faith Sharing Group, you may do so. If you did not participate in a Faith Sharing Group last Spring, you are welcome to join one now. It is our intention to offer the groups at various times of the day and on various days of the week.
