Parish Sacramental Life

Baptism First Saturday during the 5:00 liturgy and the second and fourth Sundays at 12:30 by appointment only. Parents are required to attend the baptismal preparation progam. Arrangements for this program and baptisms can be made by callmg the rectory offIce.

Confirmation is scheduled every year for children in the eighth grade and for adults not yet confirmed. Contact the Office of Religious Education.

Eucharist First Eucharist is usually celebrated in the second grade. Contact the Office of Religious Education.

R.C.I.A. The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is the process by which adUlts are welcomed into the Church. The process.begins in the fall of each year, and new members are welcomed into the .Church at the Easter Vigil. If interested or you know someone who is, please contact the Office of ReIigious Education.

Reconciliation (Penance) Every Saturday from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. Private celebration of reconciliation by appointment anytime. Communal celebration of reconciliation during Advent and Lent. First Reconciliation is celebrated in the Spring, Contact the Office of Religious Education.

Marriage You must be registered in the parish one year before arranging a marriage at St. Agatha's. Arrangements for this celebration must be made at the rectory at least six mpnths in advance. No date may be reserved without first consulting with a priest of the parish. Pre-Cana or Engaged Encouter is required.

Anointing of the Sick Call the rectory day or night in case of an emergency. Communal celebration of anointing of the sick is scheduled periodically. Please notify the rectory for visits and/or Communion calls to the sick or shut-ins.
