Adult Religious Education Ministry

ADULT EDUCATION

We offer an adult education program on Sunday mornings between Masses during the months of October and February. Also, Bible Study is offered during the school year. The fall program was  an 11 week study of  1st Corinthians. Each week’s topic is offered on Thursday mornings from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and again on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the parish hall.

R.C.I.A. (RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process through which adults become members of the Catholic Church. We begin the process with classes that begin in the middle of September each year.

Meetings are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Participants choosing to enter into the sacramental life as a Catholic are received into the Church at the Easter Vigil liturgy.

R.C.I.A. is open to anyone who cares to inquire about the Catholic Faith, as well as all adult Catholics who have not received the sacrament of Confirmation/Eucharist in the Catholic Church. Parishioners may accompany our candidates throughout the process as a sponsor. For more information contact the Office of Religious Education, 488-4975, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
